What is the EVHS OLEV grant?
The Electric Vehicle Homecharging Scheme (EVHS) is a government grant provided by the Office for Low Emission Vehicles (OLEV) to help with the cost of supply and installation of charging points in homes for people with electric cars or plug-in hybrid vehicles. Eligibility criteria apply.
- The EVHS provides up to 75% towards the cost of purchasing & installing a home electric vehicle charging point, which equates to £500.
- The grant is available for most electric cars and plug-in hybrid vehicles.
- You can claim one EV charge point per eligible vehicle, and up to two EV charging points per household.
If you meet the eligibility criteria as set out by OLEV, we as authorised installers will apply on your behalf. All you need to do is complete some paperwork and provide evidence of keepership/lesseseship such as a V5 or contract/leasing documents, or if the vehicle is leased through your place of work, a letter from your company.
