HCCS (Home Car Charging Solutions) was established in 2014 by Managing Director Jonathan Reilly.  As a firm of domestic and commercial electricians with NICEIC approved contractor status, in 2017 we shifted our business focus to installing electric vehicle charging points following a surge in demand for this service.  We registered with OZEV to be able to offer the grants and since then, we have installed over 15,000 EV charge points for both domestic and commercial customers.  

Over the past 7 years we have seen huge changes within the industry. In the beginning EV chargers were ‘dumb chargers’ whereby you plugged in, charged and then had to unplug again, but the technology has moved on so much that these days features include smart apps, scheduled charging, solar compatibility, energy tariff integration and much more.

As approved installers for many of the UK’s leading charge point manufacturers, our team of experienced customer support advisers and qualified electricians has in-depth industry knowledge and we pride ourselves on keeping up-to-date with the latest developments and regulations in the fast-growing and ever-changing electric vehicle industry.

Providing a high-quality service for our customers is a main priority, and we work closely with our clients to project manage every install, offering advice and recommendations along the way. This includes initial advice and consultation to ensure the correct charging facilities are specified, whether it be a single EV charge point for a residential property, business or school, or multiple charge points for a larger scale project.
