EO Genius fleet management for Magenta Security Services

When Abbey Petkar, Managing Director of Magenta Security Services in Hounslow pledged to emerge from the pandemic greener, more efficient, and more committed to reducing the Company's carbon footprint, he approached Home Car Charging Solutions for advice on the best solutions for managing his fleet of electric cars.

Having carried out a site survey for Magenta to verify the electrical supply and scope of works involved, HCCS recommended the best solution for the electric fleet would be the EO Genius which can network up to 32 EV charge points via the EO Hub.

The bespoke system provides a future-proof smart charging system for forward thinking businesses.  

With charging power up to 22kW, the charge points are combined with EO Cloud software and built-in fleet management.

Eligible businesses can save £350 off the cost per charger with the Workplace Charging Scheme grant.

Two HCCS engineers over two days installed 5 x 7.2kW and 1 x 22kW EO Genius charge points. These were then connected to the EO Hub with RFID tags with unique log ins for drivers of the Company's fleet vehicles.

Abbey has been an advocate for a greener security industry for many years. He is delighted that the Company has been awarded Carbon Neutral plus status by CARBON FOOTPRINT.

The new electric cars will help us to save 50,000 litres of petrol that were being used by our previous fleet of petrol cars. Abbey went on to say "Our new charging points are quick and provide us with lots of data, which helps us manage our fleet better, I am very pleased that Home Car Charging Solutions recommended the EO system which, will help us to future proof our need for electric chargers".


